Personal News So it's turned out to be an even busier year than I had anticipated. I've started my new job, and it's going incredibly well. It's really great to finally be doing work that aligns with my skills and interests, and I'm feeling really, really good about it. My partner and I have moved into a new house, and we're doing the whole adult thing and it's going just dandy. We've adopted a new dog. Her name is Pepper, she's a rescue and she's an extremely zippy, kissy, clever Koolie who is 18 months old and starting to test boundaries. We love her to pieces. I'm still doing the odd article for Lost Magazine and running my book blog,

2015 was an absolute rollercoaster of a year. I moved in with my partner and learned to let the people who love me support me. I became self-employed and learned what it's like to be your own boss and manage your own schedule. I finally, after 18 months of applying, got a graduate job which I'm starting in February. I learned how to pick myself up after disappointment and despair, and keep trying in the face of failure after failure. I lost two pets. Our poor, sweet bun Hazel who had had such a hard start to life, and who had a hard end after he got cancer. My best friend, my heart-dog Bailey who made it to the incredible age of 19 years
